It is hardnot to love Glen Ellen, CA. This village has everything a person could want or need in the heart of wine country and within walking distance. When my husband, Robert, and I were introduced to Glen Ellen we were delighted to learn that truth. Minutes from our back door takes us to the post office, Glen Ellen Village Market, any one of several great restaurants, or to the beautiful Sonoma Regional Park for a walk or bike ride. It seemed like the only thing missing was a place for tourists and locals to do a little fun shopping…that’s where I come in.
I’m Sheryee McCormick recently transplanted from Canton, Georgia where I owned a little shop called One of a Kind. I love being a shop keeper; it is such a great way to meet people and share products I love. When I learned there would be a space opening in the heart of Glen Ellen on Arnold Drive I knew it was time for me to put on my shopkeeper’s apron and hang out a shingle. On that shingle: McCormick’s Mercantile of Glen Ellen. McCormick’s will carry a variety of gift, personal, home decor, and seasonal items. We will feature USA, California, and locally crafted ware.
On Friday the 8th of June we will begin the transformation at 13647 Arnold Drive from tasting room to Mercantile. I am so excited to be taking a bigger part in the Glen Ellen community and to getting with so many great neighbors. Stop by and say hello as I sweep the floors and stock the shelves. Then watch and wait for news of our Grand Opening later in July.
